November meet of the year was help on Saturday, November 18, 2000 at BSU Campus and Julia Davis park. Wonderful weather attracted scores of orienteering and football fans to the BSU Campus. Sun, blue skies, high spirit marked this day. First time orienteerers could face new BSU Campus map unsurpassed with its abilities for wonderful park orienteering courses. Loud support of the crowds at the background made it even more challenging specially while crossing parking lots full of trailers and partying football fans.

Score O was the format of the meet. 18 controls were scattered across the campus and park allowing plenty of possibilities to find hidden treasures of both halfs of the map. Each control earned 5 points. 45 minutes limit time was set with 2 points fine for each full minute above the limit.

It was my real pleasure to watch the duel of our most advanced athletes Stan, Jeff, and Neil. They found all controls in record time with Stan being the fastest in spite of his old leg injury. Jeff missed one control and have to run back to find it. That cost him first place. Neil was only 32 seconds behind Jeff. Certainly his companion dog helped him finding controls :) I think both Neil and the dog wanted to explore park one more time so much that they decided to run the whole course again and came back happy and steaming. We hope to see Neil regularly at our meets. Our youngest Tucker, Elijah, and Masha definitely had to pull their companions in the search of those wonderful controls and red punches. It is such pleasure to punch holes in the box! And play with each other after the finish. Next time I will try to design something specially for them. Newcomer Cameron found all controls and showed very good time. Unfortunately I missed his departure and didn't have a pleasure to talk to him much. Hope to do it next time. Brian had a chance to get feel of what Dasha is sometimes doing at her spare time. I hope he did like it :) See you all at our future meets.

After some discussion officials decided to use special 2X multiplier for future stars division to make it comparable to others so with some corrections here are results of the last meet (with absolute winner from the future stars division, of course).
