Sunny Saturday September 14 attracted scores of young soccer players, as well as
 some die-hard orienteerers to Ann Morrison park. Newcomers and experienced ones tried to find as many
 of 20 controls as they could in 1 hour limit. Some managed to find all of them, however, not everyone
 escaped penalty for overtime. Only very experienced Masha fresh from her winning at the Western States Champs
 showed real courage and pulled me over whole park in pursuit of all controls inspite of the pressure from
 time and heat.
 Newcomer Peters family
 found almost all controls and were ahead of Doly and Kunzman pairs who found all controls but were
 penalized for overtime. I hope they will gain more experience and skills at our future meets.
 Elijah and Sophia pulled Andy on the course - I saw it with my own eyes :) And
 finaly Karin braved the heat and missed only controls that she forgot to copy onto her map.

Nobody came to try advanced variant with 6.5 K, 20 controls so I saved it for the next time :) Here are
 the meet results.
