Beautiful weather greeted everyone who came this past Saturday to try our brand new map at the Willow Lane Park in Boise. I hope we inspired couple puzzled looks from hundreds baseball and soccer players who filled the game fields. Some controls where strategically placed between fields to give orienteerers an opportunity to show players perfect punching technique. Our seasoned veterans had heated battle on the long 5.4 K, 22 controls course covering both Willow and Veterans Parks. So nice to have two maps side by side! Couple four legged friends explored park as well. I hope everyone liked the tree across the river on the advanced and intermediate courses. It was first orienteering experience for the Mort family and for Rosie Hill. We hope you liked it and will come again to experience “Sweden chess”. Cullum family had fun as always! Bennetts enjoyed the intermediate course. And Bob is always smiling :)
